We will do without Christmas presents this year and have decided to support the Theodora Foundation.
Since 1993, the Theodora Foundation has been pursuing the goal of brightening up the everyday lives of children in hospitals and specialised institutions with joy and laughter.

Today, the foundation organises and finances the Foundation organises and finances visits by professional artists – the Dream Doctors – every week to hospitals and institutions for children with disabilities in Switzerland. Every year, these funny, magical figures bring laughter and moments of happiness to thousands of children’s visits every year.
The Dream Doctors are specially trained and work in consultation with the nursing staff. The Foundation offers five programmes: Dream Doctors and Surgical Companionship for young patients in hospital; Mr. and Mrs. Dream and Little Orchestra of the Senses for children with disabilities; and impairment; and The Little Champs for children with overweight in obesity therapy. The charitable foundation does not seek any government subsidies. The funding of the weekly artist visits is based entirely on the support of donors and partners. The Theodora Foundation is a founding member of the European Federation of Healthcare Clown Organisations (EFHCO).
